September 22, 2025 – The inaugural National Science Popularization Month launched in Dongguan, with the city’s main event and the Greater Bay Area Sci-Tech Innovation & Popularization Industry Exhibition kicking off at the Dongguan Civic Service Center. Dongguan Kaihang Technology Co., Ltd. was one of only three enterprises selected to present at the roadshow, demonstrating its advanced technical capabilities to government leaders and distinguished guests.  

【Converging Momentum: Deep Integration of Sci-Tech Innovation and Popular Science】

The Dongguan Science Carnival was led by the Dongguan Association for Science and Technology and co-organized by 15 municipal entities under a “1+15+N” integrated activity framework, designed to closely align science outreach with technology innovation and advanced manufacturing.  

Zhang Chunyang, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of the Dongguan Association for Science and Technology, emphasized that the city places equal importance on science popularization and technological innovation. A four-level popular science network—spanning province, city, town, and village—has been established to bring scientific knowledge directly into communities, campuses, and enterprises.  

As a core segment of the carnival, the Greater Bay Area Sci-Tech Innovation & Popularization Industry Exhibition spotlighted eight frontier fields, including artificial intelligence, intelligent robotics, and precision manufacturing. Nearly 100 technology enterprises exhibited their latest advances, making high-end innovation accessible to a broad audience.  

【Roadshow Highlights: Precision Technology Takes the Stage】

Three local benchmark companies were invited to deliver integrated “tech + popular science” roadshow presentations. Representing the precision manufacturing sector, Kaihang Technology showcased its R&D and industrialization of high-density, multi-core, multi-channel MPO connector technologies.  

Wang Guanlin, Kaihang Technology’s Marketing Header, highlighted the critical role of MT ferrules and MPO connectors in the information era. “Our products support 35% of global high-end optical connectivity demand,” Wang noted. He pointed out that MT ferrule technology was monopolized for two decades until Kaihang achieved breakthrough innovation through independent R&D, securing full supply chain autonomy and technical safety.  

Today, Kaihang Technology ranks among the global leaders in its sector and serves as a key supplier to international tech giants.

In addition to thematic roadshows, the carnival featured exhibitions and interactive experiences aimed at making advanced technology more relatable to the public. Through its participation, Kaihang Technology not only demonstrated its technical expertise but also strengthened public awareness and confidence in domestic high-end manufacturing.
